PRIVACY POLICY - VAULT V.I.P.

This Privacy Policy describes how Vault Pressure Control LLC, a Texas limited liability company with its principal place of business at 5775 N Sam Houston Pkwy W, STE 700, Houston, TX 77086 ("Vault," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Vault V.I.P.TM mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy applies only to the App and does not apply to Vault's website or any other Vault product or service, which are governed by their own separate privacy notices. This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into, and should be read together with, the Vault V.I.P. Terms and Conditions of Use.
By downloading, installing, creating an account for, or otherwise using the App, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information. To use the App, including its freely accessible content, you must create an account. We collect the name, email address, and password you provide during registration.
1.2 Microsoft Sign-In for Extended Access. If you have been granted access to the App's Extended Access Content (see Section 1.3 of the Terms and Conditions of Use), you may sign in using Microsoft single sign-on with two-factor authentication instead of, or in addition to, a Vault V.I.P. account password. When you do so, we collect the name and password associated with your Microsoft account credentials solely to authenticate you and provision your access to Extended Access Content.
1.3 Extended Access Requests. Requests to be granted Extended Access Content are submitted through a link within the App to a form on Vault's website, which is governed by Vault's separate website terms and privacy policy. The App itself does not collect the information you submit through that request form. If Vault approves your request, your name and password are shared with Vault's approval access software, a separate platform Vault uses to manage and provision extended-access accounts, solely for that provisioning purpose.
1.4 Usage and Analytics Data. We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to collect information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, screens viewed, session length, and general usage patterns.
1.5 Crash and Diagnostic Data. We use Firebase Crashlytics, also provided by Google LLC, to collect crash logs and other diagnostic information, such as device model, operating system version, App version, and error or crash details, to help us identify and fix technical problems.
1.6 Device Information. We may collect limited technical information about your device, such as device type, operating system, identifiers used solely for the Firebase analytics and crash-reporting purposes described above, and IP address.
1.7 Information We Do Not Collect. As of the date of this Privacy Policy, the App does not access your device's camera or photo library, does not use location services or collect your geographic location, and does not synchronize your in-app content or data to any Vault cloud service other than as described in Sections 1.1 through 1.3 above. 1.8 We do not knowingly collect categories of information beyond those described in this Section 1.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described in Section 1 to: (a) create and maintain your account and provide the App's free and Extended Access Content features, including authenticating you through Microsoft single sign-on where applicable; (b) operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App; (c) diagnose and fix technical problems and crashes; (d) understand, in the aggregate, how users interact with the App to inform future development; (e) communicate with you about the App, including in response to support requests you submit; (f) enforce the Terms and Conditions of Use and protect the rights, property, and safety of Vault, our users, and others; and (g) comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
3. How We Share Information
3.1 Service Providers. We share the information described in Section 1 with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including: Firebase (Google LLC), for analytics and crash-reporting; Microsoft, for single sign-on and two-factor authentication infrastructure used by Extended Access Content users; and Vault's approval access software provider, for provisioning Extended Access Content as described in Section 1.3. 3.2 Legal and Safety Disclosures. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) enforce the Terms and Conditions of Use, including investigation of potential violations; (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of Vault, our users, or the public, as required or permitted by law.
3.3 Business Transfers. If Vault is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, the information described in this Privacy Policy may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
3.4 No Sale or Sharing for Advertising. Vault does not sell your personal information, and does not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, as those terms are defined under applicable law. [Confirm accuracy prior to publication.]
3.5 We do not otherwise share the information described in Section 1 with third parties except as described in this Section 3 or with your consent.
4. Data Retention
4.1 Account Information. We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account as described in Section 6, we will delete or anonymize your account information within thirty (30) days, except to the extent we are required to retain certain information to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
4.2 Usage and Analytics Data. Usage and analytics data collected through Firebase Analytics is retained for up to fourteen (14) months from the date of collection, consistent with Firebase Analytics' extended data-retention setting, after which it is automatically deleted or aggregated.
4.3 Crash and Diagnostic Data. Crash and diagnostic data collected through Firebase Crashlytics is retained for up to ninety (90) days from the date of collection, consistent with Firebase Crashlytics' standard retention period.
4.4 These are proposed default retention periods based on the standard configuration of the service providers named in Section 3.1. [Vault to confirm these periods match Vault's actual Firebase project configuration, and any additional retention requirements applicable to the approval access software, prior to publication.]
5. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information described in Section 1 from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
6.1 Account Deletion. You may delete your account, and the personal data associated with it, directly within the App at any time by opening the User Info screen and selecting the option to delete your account. Deleting your account will delete your account information as described in Section 4, subject to any legally required retention.
6.2 Additional Rights. Depending on your place of residence, applicable law may give you additional rights with respect to your personal information, which may include the right to: (a) request access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate personal information; (c) request deletion of your personal information; (d) request that we limit certain processing; (e) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or of certain profiling; and (f) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. These rights are not absolute and are subject to exceptions and limitations under applicable law, and their availability depends on your jurisdiction of residence and whether the specific law in question applies to Vault. 6.3 To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11 below. We will respond to verifiable requests as required by applicable law.
6.4 If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your personal information are, as applicable: performance of a contract with you (to provide the App and its features), our legitimate interests (such as maintaining and improving the App and its security), and compliance with our legal obligations.
6.5 If you are located in Australia, Vault handles your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), to the extent applicable to Vault's operations. 7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by professionals in the wellhead, oilfield, and pressure control equipment industries and is not directed to, marketed to, or intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
8. International Users; Cross-Border Data Transfers
Vault is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States, including by service providers such as Firebase (Google LLC). Vault anticipates that the App will be used outside the United States, including by Vault personnel and customers in Australia. If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries, which may have data protection laws that differ from those of your home jurisdiction. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including transfers from Australia. 9. Apple App Store Disclosures
The information collected by the App, as described in this Privacy Policy, is reflected in the App Privacy details Vault provides to Apple for display on the Vault V.I.P. App Store product page. Vault will keep those disclosures consistent with this Privacy Policy and will update both if the App's data practices change.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App, by updating the "Last Updated" date above, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after any such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
